Be Conversation Ready

Over the past few weeks, across meetings, workshops or training sessions one thing kept coming up.

When I asked people how their client conversations were going, many said the same thing:

"They go really well."

And then nothing happens...

The follow-ups get ignored. You're left wondering what went wrong, because the meeting felt great.

Sounds like familiar?

Here's what I see in almost every business I work with: the conversation moved too fast. The solution came before the problem was fully understood.

One habit changes can help:

ASK BETTER QUESTIONS before you offer anything. Don’t jump into the solution mode.

Three worth trying:

"What's prompted you to look into this now?" => Understand the urgency

"What have you already tried?" => Anticipate the objection

"What would a great outcome look like for you?" =>Direct the conversation toward the solution

These aren't sales tricks. They're just good conversation habits, the kind that make people feel heard, and make your business the obvious choice.

And then, agreed on the next step with a date.

Finally, if you want to be the person people most want to meet again, start by being the most interested person in the room!
